Malaysia National Hockey Stadium Becomes 1st & 2nd FIH Global Elite Pitches in History

Kula Lumpur, Malaysia, December 09, 2017 --(PR.com)-- The International Hockey Federation FIH Quality Programme for Hockey Turf includes the certification of hockey fields to ensure that surfaces are being built to the highest standards. FIH Certified Fields are independently tested on how the ball interacts with the playing surface, the comfort and performance levels to ensure the well-being and protection of players, and confirming that the field has been built to the dimensions, line marking, slope and surface drainage requirements of the FIH. The Global Elite certificate is given to a surface that meets the requirements for the highest level of FIH international competition. Act Global's Xtreme Turf surfaces for Malaysia National Hockey Stadium, the main field and training field in Kuala Lumpur, both achieved this certificate by using an elite performance nylon wet-hockey system. They are the first ever Global Elite certified pitches in the world.

The Malaysia National Hockey Stadium serves as a multi-use stadium in Kula Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the home of the Malaysia Men’s and Women’s National Field Hockey Teams and was the official competition surface for the 2017 South East Asian Games (SEA Games). It has been used for the national team’s field hockey matches and hosted competitions for the 2002 Men’s Hockey World Cup, 1999 and 2003 Hockey Asia Cup, 1982 Hockey Junior World Cup, 2000 Hockey Junior Asia Cup and 1998 Commonwealth Games. The stadium has been a pillar for growing and sustaining the game of hockey and will continue to do so with its Global Elite surface.

Act Global partnered with Sport Tech Pro to install this Xtreme Turf elite performance pitch. The nylon surface was produced by Act Global’s plant in Europe and it was designed to offer superior water retention, meaning the field stays wetter for longer which allows it to withstand the Malaysian heat. The flat, fast surface contains fibres that enhance player footing and stick movement while permitting consistent ball roll. As a FIH Preferred Supplier, Act Global is committed to the highest industry standards and continues to engineer high performing systems, suitable for all levels of play.

The Malaysia National Hockey main stadium pitch and training pitch are Act Global’s3rd and 4th FIH Certified Fields in Malaysia.

As the market leader in pest control, Rentokil recognises the importance of science and technology integration with pest management.

“The world population is going to reach 8.5billion by year 2030, and due to globalised supply chain, food safety management has gotten more challenging than ever. She added, “These innovative technological systems are able to deliver new data insights that enable businesses to identify trends and hotspot areas. It can also provide a real solution to help mitigate risk in the increasingly complex modern supply chains. It is a more proactive approach towards food safety that helps organisations throughout its supply chain risk management.”

The innovations that they brought for their customers are based on their needs and according to IPM using the ERDM (Exclusion, Restriction, Destruction, Monitoring) methodology designed by Rentokil to manage pest risks in a holistic manner.

During the workshop, the participants were also given the first-hand experience on PestConnect, an online connected system, which provides continuous 24/7 monitoring, rapid response and protection against pest, for example rodents. The connected devices automatically detect pest activities and send the data directly to myRentokil, the online reporting system that allows customers to stay on top of any potential risks at their site (s). Tens of thousands of Rentokil’s customers are able to access their myRentokil accounts for analysis and audit support.

Mango Madness Skin Care Announces Vitamin K Based Under Eye Cream

Palm Beach, FL, February 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Anti-aging skin care product manufacturer Mango Madness Skin Care, Inc. has announced the availability of a Vitamin K based under eye cream to fade dark circles.

Many people with very good skin nevertheless suffer from periorbital hyperchromia, also known as dark circles below the eyes. The cause of these unsightly shadows is typically caused by pooling of blood under the thin skin near the eye area as a result of leaking capillaries. Topical preparations containing Vitamin K-1, also known as phytonadione, can help stop the blood vessels from leaking by promoting coagulation. This results in less discoloration, fewer pigmentation problems, and minimizes swelling.

Mango Madness Skin Care has developed an over the counter skin cream branded as Refresh Me that contains Vitamin K and other compounds to help manage these dark areas. The company's other anti-aging products include advanced paraben-free wrinkle creams with peptides and retinol, exfoliation products, moisturizing creams and serums, and special-purpose creams.

"For people that want to get rid of dark circles and under eye puffiness, Refresh Me with Vitamin K is an ideal solution," said Gary Myers, president of Palm Beach, Fla. based Mango Madness Skin Care. "We've improved this Vitamin K eye care cream by adding Arnica Montana and soy peptides to help eliminate the bags and black rings."

Mango Madness products are formulated to contain no parabens, sulfates, phthalates, BPA, artificial fragrance, or other harmful ingredients. They are gluten free. The company performs no animal testing and all ingredients and products are animal cruelty free.
